Bachelor Party House Rules in New Orleans Before the Strippers Arrive

The bachelor is the king for the night, but the house rules rule the roost. When you get a group of guys together, add alcohol, and introduce strippers, testosterone can sometimes take over. Before the doorbell rings, gather the guys for a quick huddle. A 30-second pep talk can save you from a world of awkwardness and make sure that the agency doesn’t blacklist you.

Rule 1: Put the Phones Away

This is the big one. Unless everyone (including the strippers) explicitly agrees to photos, keep the phones in your pockets. Filming a dancer without permission is a major violation of privacy. It makes them uncomfortable and kills the intimacy of the performance. Plus, do you really want footage of your drunk buddy ending up on social media? What happens at the bachelor party should stay there. Enforce a “No Social Media” policy for the hour the stripper is there.

Rule 2: The “No Touching” Policy

Reiterate this clearly. “Look, don’t touch.” Alcohol can make people forget boundaries or think they are being charming when they are actually being creepy. Remind the guys that unless the stripper initiates it (like placing a hand on a shoulder or guiding a hand for a game), they need to keep their hands to themselves.

Rule 3: The Designated Captain

Designate one sober-ish guy to be the point of contact. This shouldn’t be the bachelor (he’ll be pretty busy), and it shouldn’t be the drunkest guy in the room. The Captain handles the logistics, like letting the dancers in, paying the balance if needed, showing them to the changing room, and handling any issues that arise. If the music stops or the lighting needs to be changed, the Captain is the one designated to handle it.

Rule 4: Respect the “No”

If a stripper says “no” to a request, whether it’s a specific act, a photo, or a drink, that’s the final word. Don’t pressure them and don’t offer more money to try and change their mind. Treat the strippers like the professionals they are. If you treat them with respect, they will go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. If you act like jerks, they will do the bare minimum and leave.
